How to apply changes to my file?

Hi, I'm confused with the documentation. I've chat with my files and get response from the web browser (I'm using deepseek). I copied the code from the web browser and try to apply it to my code, but the plugin says: Bearer token is missing. Please add it in the settings.

In fact, I also expect the browser plug-in to automatically copy the code into vscode.

Deepseek likes to return filenames for multi file responses in such manner:

NB: my default browser is Opera with the Gemini Coder extension installed, and active. I can add webpages for context and this appears in vs code. HOWEVER, when using https://aistudio.google.com in Opera, I get some strange crashes, i.e. its not the usual which restarts the whole browser, its just a page crash and I loose the latest unsaved prompt reply; using Chrome seems to have remove those crashes.

I've been having issues with this, and just manually updated it myself.
The issue was from clicking the 'Gemini Coder' button that appears at the bottom of the code block on the https://aistudio.google.com page. It would popup with a box with a filename that wasn't the file that was used to invoke the prompt. I'm unsure if its meant to be a temporary file or the actual invoking file.

I hadn't realised that theres a feature about copying the code block and then going back to vscode and doing an intelligent insert. Maybe the Gemini Coder button in the browser is newer functionality?

When you click in status bar "Apply changes" you get 2 options, one is "intelligent update" and the other "fast replace". The button placed in AI Studio is for fast replace only. So if you want to do "intelligent update" you need to do it within vscode with a response copied to clipboard using "copy markdown":

note that "intelligent update" creates API message as per documentation and should not be used if code blocks have full files (are in "whole" format).
