Hi ! Sorry to bother you via Github issues but I couldn't find an email address or Twitter handle here.

I read through the code and understand that the objective is to build a stripped down (as in just the shellcode) version of GDB. I was wondering how you were actually calling that code on eCOS ? Do you inject the code by writing to memory at runtime ? Do you modify the firmware file at rest ?

Can you confirm that the objective of "ecos_gdb" is to inject gdb stubs when they are not present in eCOS firmware and that the bootloader (RedBoot or else) is not configured to provide debugging stubs either ?
