There is support, but not for the .exe file. It is because the language files need to be stored in your filesystem. Not 100% sure if support for internationalization can easily be built into the .exe for Windows. Next time I am at it, I'll give it a closer look. But anyway, you would need to install extra translation files.

I see that original GNU source structure can use po files to integrate more language then english.
I see that laso you use po folder in your repositories.
And I found several wget language files that I can pass to you.

Now Italian language for wget 2.2.1 is complete.

Could you please maake a temporary build for test that include Italian language?
