round dot artefacts showing on my kobo ereade

Hi downloaded the quran_en.epub on my kobo ereader Clara and some pages have these round circle dots overlapping on the Arabic text. How do i remove these as it makes it difficult to read.

I presume it is the same described here: #2.
Currently the quickest solution without any epub modifications is disabling embedded fonts for this book in KOReader bottom menu and choosing other font, which does not have this artefact. In my case the best choice was Scheherazade New, but with it ayah symbols were changed to just numbers, which makes ayah ending not so noticeable.
