I'm trying to fix a minor annoyance, possibly with intent to submit a pull request down the road, and I've successfully set up the dev environment, cloned the code, and built & copied plugins to the core. The overall project runs and I get the lively window, but when I try to start the wallpaper I just get a small chrome window in the upper left corner. Any idea what I've got wrong?

The browser plugin opens in window in debut build for testing, need to built it for release. Regarding pr it's advised to first open an issue to discuss before committing. |

When building the core project if ther is plugins folder in the source then it gets copied to the build, overwriting the previous.. maybe that's what happening? You can also test by just removing the code shown. |

Ok, clearly I'm doing something wrong. I removed the condition, cleaned and rebuilt the webview2 project, deleted the contents of the plugins/webview2 folder in core and replaced with contents of Lively\Lively.Player.WebView2\bin\x64\Release, then ran core in release mode. I'm still getting the same behavior. |

I should perhaps note that once the UI pops up I get this in the output log: The program '[169532] Lively.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0). |

...ok, I think I was just being a bit dumb. Between each attempt I was closing the UI, but I dont think I was actually killing the core from the system tray. After doing that it works fine. sigh |
