Love the app! Some feedback regarding Shift trigger, Trackpad behavior, and Zone spanning #61

Hi,

I just purchased MacsyZones and I really appreciate your work! It is by far the best alternative to FancyZones on macOS.

I would like to suggest a few improvements to make the workflow even smoother:

  1. Flexible Shift-Key Triggering Currently, the zones only appear if I start dragging the window first and then press Shift. If I hold Shift before I start dragging, the zones do not activate. Request: Could you make the trigger logic order-independent? It would be great if the zones activated regardless of whether Shift is pressed before or after the drag starts.

  2. Three-Finger Drag "Drop" Behavior I use the macOS Trackpad with "Three-finger drag" enabled (Accessibility settings). Currently, when I drag a window into a zone, I have to tap the trackpad again to confirm the placement. Request: Could you support "Drop on Lift"? The window should snap into the zone immediately when I lift my fingers off the trackpad, matching the native macOS window dragging behavior.

  3. Zone Spanning (FancyZones style) I miss the ability to snap a window across multiple zones. Request: In PowerToys FancyZones, if you drag a window to the border between two zones, it snaps to fill both. It would be an amazing addition if MacsyZones could support this cross-zone spanning.

Thanks again for the great tool!

Best regards
