duplicate navbar using profiles in advanced config

hello, thanks so much for this great package!
Just thought I would flag that if following the documentation for using quarto profiles and advanced configuration to render a website it ends up with both the english and the translated sections in the navbar.
My solution was to separate out and have _quarto.yml, _quarto-en.yml and then the other language yml profiles too - which solved the problem.

The situation about profiles is indeed a bit confusing to me. I separate two cases

1. Multiple language yaml files. E.g. _quarto.yml for main options, _quarto-<main_language>.yml and _quarto-<other_languages>.yml. In this case it is possible to have per-language options, e.g. the website: field. As mentioned above, one needs no sidebar or navbar in the main yaml, to avoid duplications. However I did not manage to use other quarto profiles in this configuration. For instance if I use a profile to have an additional pdf rendering of some pages, the profile is ignored if other _quarto-<languages>.yml are present.

2. Single _quarto.yml for the languages, but possibly other _quarto-<myprofile>.yml. In this case, some options are accepted in the main yaml, for different languages, e,g, title-<other_languages>:, but others are not (e.g. sidebars). At the same time, other profiles are only applied to the main language. In the previous example, if I add a profile for additional pdf rendering, only the main language will get the pdf rendered pages (usually automatically linked in the respective webpages with an "other formats" link in the sidebar).

Hi both sorry for delayed response, am in the middle of end-of-year cleanup so wouldnt be able to get to a documentation PR anytime soon but this PR has a WIP yml file layout (along with a lot of other mess). But you will see there is four _quarto.yml files, including one for en which is the main language in babelquarto. Hope this makes sense happy to answer questions if helpful, and at some point help with documentation just overwhelmed atm. Thanks!
