Losing default settings under general options others

Hi, there is a setting under general options - others to set the temperature limits. I changed the upper limit from 50000 to 10000. When I exit that screen. The new setting is working as if it took the change. However, after working for an hour or so, the setting reverts back to 50000. I can't figure out why. I have to then change it back to 10000 again manually and it will work for a while.

Where are these settings stored? What file and location?

My "work around" is to do an export of the settings and do an import every time the setting reverts back.

This problem existed in the previous version as well. Not a new problem.

I should add that if I exit and restart lightroom, my upper limit of 10000 does come up when relaunched. The behavior is like if something is clicking that default setting button next to temperature limits at some random time.
