CSoC 2025 Application Lazar Ilic: Enhancing the Jaya R Package for Efficient Optimization

I have been programming in Python for a few years, as well as C++. Was a Software Engineer at Amazon. I have a Master Of Computer Science degree from the University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor Of Science Of Mathematics degree from the University Of Texas At Austin. I read through the entire listing of potential proposed projects and could try others. But Enhancing the Jaya R Package for Efficient Optimization struck me as the most interesting. I have used R before for a few thousand lines and can focus in on more reading perhaps update my application on the GitHub Wiki page soon.
