Known Issue: Media Out of Sync When Brand Site Connection Fails #6
Description
Issue Summary
When updating a synced media item on the governing site, if any connected brand site experiences a connection failure (for example, the brand site is down or its API key has been changed), the synced media asset for that brand site will go out of sync.
This happens because the update request from the governing site cannot reach the affected brand site, resulting in mismatched media states between sites.
Acceptance Criteria
- Implement a pre-update connection health check for all linked brand sites.
- Display a snackbar alert when any connection fails.
- Ensure transactional rollback of media edits on failure.
- Maintain sync consistency across all connected sites.
- Log failed connections for debugging and support reference.
