unable to transcode .mpg file

Wordpress version Tested: 6.6-RC3
Issue description: after uploading the .mpg file, transcoding for the file is failed.
Expected Result: The file should be transcoded successfully and converted to mp4 file.
Actual Result: Transcoding failed to transcode the file

I tried to replicate the issue on my end with 3 different files. But I could not replicate the issue.
