Problem:

• Images are not visible on your live demo site mentioned in the README file.

Solution:

• First Step: You have to click on the Appearance button which is mentioned in your WordPress dashboard.
• Second Step: After that you have to select Background. As soon as you go to background, then you have to select theme options.
• Third Step: After that you have to click on a single post. If your hide/show featured image is off, turn it on.
• Last Step: After that you have to click on the publish button and it will work.

Steps: WordPress-> Dashboard-> Background-> Theme Options-> Single Post-> hide/show featured image-> Publish.

Hi, I reviewed the issue and it seems that the missing images are due to WordPress theme settings rather than a problem in the wp-decoupled codebase. Since the frontend depends on the WordPress API returning featured_media, enabling ‘Show Featured Image’ in the WordPress dashboard resolves the issue.
Just confirming if this issue should be closed, or if you'd like to track this as a documentation improvement?
