Missing translation on ionic v1 app menu #342

I am trying to translate a ionic app using this lib, it works great at some views, but other views show "[MISSING]" on all the terms having "translate". I have checked, the json file is correct and does presents the needed terms for the translation. I can't figure out why it does works on some places and not on others. Might be ionic related? How do I debug this? Console shows no errors and reading the json of the translation and setting language on the controlers of the problematic views do not solve the problem. Any ideas?
