Upgrade Elasticsearch to 7.10.2 from 6.x

Hi,
Our private wiki application uses elastica & cirrussearch as search engine. in the backend, ES 6.5 is running on RHEL 7.9. Same machine where application also running.
Planing to upgrade the wiki application, but new version needs ES 7.10.2. Is there an option to upgrade ES, so that I dont have to re-create indexes and use the existing index since the data is same for new wiki application?

Anybody got idea ?

I recommend to go through the upgrade guide for Elasticsearch here: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.17/setup-upgrade.html You should not have to reindex.
