CRX fails to record actions in iframes unless page is reloaded after CRX attachment

I noticed a bug where when I attach the crx on an already loaded page with iframes. It fails to record actions performend in them. however if I reload the page after attaching it is working as expected.

I tried to reproduce it in https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_iframe.asp but it worked as expected.

Can you provide your steps, so that I can try to reproduce them locally?
