Gutter color matching context color can make following lines more difficult

Dim the gutter but not the numbers (dim can be hard to read on some terminals)

Switch to non-bold blue for gutter

Switch to gray for the gutter

Switch to cyan for the gutter

Reason I'm unsure of cyan is looking at

The contrast with the Context line is great. The problem is the contrast of the lines with the regular text, especially when they are further away. When there is a higher concentration, like with the line numbers, it works out.
