I agree, I don’t understand why it is a new licence type, I think it has something to do with how devices are counted but don’t fully understand the route taken to implement this, the quick support feature is a major one for replacing TeamViewer and whilst the quick support is available and works it takes a device seat and you have to run a script to clean the disabled devices. A commercial decision was made to make this available as a new licence type (and we have to respect that), personally I would rather see this as an add on as the current removing concurrent connections seems counter intuitive. |

I was about to purchase a license as my splashtop license is about to expire.
I wanted to check how to not add some devices automatically when I connect remotely to a user and saw the "register-device" option, which is great... But you need a special licence to not add a device as managed ?

Why is this not a standard feature ? I would believe this is a "simple" enough feature to not want all remote devices to be "managed".
