Custom Client Auto Update

Hi all,

This topic has been discussed elsewhere, but for our companies use cases, a shell script alone is is not viable.

We are beginning to expand our endpoints drastically. This involves a large number of custom clients.

We would like to see the custom clients support some sort of auto update feature, that updates the core of the custom client, that can be set as a flag in the configuration.

If set, the client could could periodically check for new versions on a restart, and then prompt that there is a new version, or auto install that new version. whilst keeping the same configuration.

To get this done any other way is too hackey, and I believe the other pro users will agree that this feature would be very useful.
