Parts of the screen on ESP32-2424S012C are not rendered

Hi all,

I have a few ESP32-2424S012 round CYD-displays for panel-meters in my boat. Now i tried to update the code on one of them but after loading the program parts of the screen is not drawn, there are only grey-violet-ish bars horizontally across. The application otherwise works, I can change pages etc etc.
I have tried loading the demo from here and the same thing happens. I also loaded the original demo-bin-file that came with the screen and it works so I made sure it is not a hardware-fault.

Any ideas what could be the reason ?

I am using the following versions, the same happens with LVGL 9.3.0:

They look really nice, the meters!

I suspect the dimensions are out of bounds. If there are out of bounds writes this might wrap and create strange appearances.

I have tried with the demo from here and the same happens : https://github.com/rzeldent/esp32-smartdisplay-demo
Can You give me any ideas where to check for dimensions/bounds ? The Squareline-settings are for 240x240, same in the .json-file in the boards-directory
