isolate section of app from any styling

Is there any way I can isolate a section of my app out from tailwind and daisyUI

What do you mean? But supposing you want to use the same classes then I would suggest you to use a prefix for both tailwind and daisyui

I meant on some pages of my site to use tailwind and daisyUI and for some, totally not

That would only depend on how you have your application structured.
If it's a MPA then just load tailwind/daisy in that page.
If it's SPA then use prefixes for both tailwind and daisy and only use the classes in the pages you want.

I think the only thing that is done by default (without you using a class on an element) is the tailwind reset (and it has pretty reasonable defaults)

I am using SPA, and now I get it, It was the tailwind reset that was happening.

Btw by MPA you mean SSG or SSR right ?

Yes, basically MPA would mean full page load from server (no matter what tech is used for generation - SSR/SSG), and SPA would mean one load from server and all the rest of the content update is on client (so this would include also SSR/SSG initial render with client handover after that).
