Backups encrypted by default?

My Odroid crashed, so I had to reinstall HA. When uploading the backup from Google Drive, HA asks an encryption key. I never set an encryption key and I also never configured HA automatic backups, I always used this add-on.
I'm using HA core 2025.9.1
Any idea what the encryption key might be?

Hmm, apparently the local backups that I retrieved from the data disk are also encrypted
