Dear all, Just an update: reinstalling Saber on the device did the job, at least partially (more on that in the following). Current version here is v0.26.1 (downloaded from AppStore). Removing the app deleted all my notes, but guessing that I copied them all (.sba extension). I put all the files again in the new installation folder and they are not recognized. After that I also noticed the current files have extension .sbn2 (eventually a much smaller companion .sbn2.p). Import those .sba files doesn’t do anything, is it possible o work with them? Best, Alexandre SEVERE at 2025-08-08 22:18:08.879152 Is it really severe? I would to help fixing stuff, but my programming skills were left in late 90s (C, C++, too old school For modern developing, I guess?) |

Hi, everyone!
I used Saber to prepare notes for my classes (on iPad, iPadOS 18.2) and I went to use it again yesterday without success.
I tried to open a new note, which was ok. I could write with the pencil as usual, but the diskette icon on the top left was there for ever, and it was impossible to go back to the main screen to select another note, for example. I had to close the app. Reopening it I couldn't find that note.
After that I notice that I couldn't even change the color of the pen. Did anyone experienced something similar?
I just updated the app from AppStore and the problem persists.
Best, Alexandre
