macOS only syncs the first addressbook

Steps to reproduce

Add your baikal account that containts several addressbooks to the macOS contacts app. Only the first in line is synced to the contacts app.

Expected behaviour

Like in iOS all the addressbooks should be synced.

Current behaviour

I have read on the internet that this is a macOS limitation. What I want to know is: Is there a workaround? Somewhere I read you must add different accounts for each addressbook to the contacts app. I tried that and used the specific url of each addressbook. However the contacts that arrive are all the same and all from the first addressbook. The ones from the second or third addressbooks never appear in the contacts app.

The only workaround I found was to import the data on my iPhone, which properly uploads all of them from a single VCF file.
