plotly does not display figures in a Jupyter notebook run with CoCalc #8583

Description

Describe the bug
When run the same jupyter notebook on mybinder.org, the plotly figures are properly displayed (see https://shorturl.at/sBWDy) but on CoCalc, the figure is replaced by a blank area...
I've tried different kernels but it leads to the same blank area.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get a notebook using plotly via git, for instance the notebook named workshop01_sun.ipynb from https://gricad-gitlab.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/batem/tutorials.git
  2. run the 1 and 2 and compare to mybinder.com
  3. if needed, the source code of the batem module is available at https://gricad-gitlab.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/batem/batem_all

Expected behavior
mybinder.org yields the same results the ones I obtain with the notebook run on vscode... CoCalc, no.
