No matter how I try to run this (on heroku or locally) it always fails. Any idea how to run this?

sorry for late answer.I made and deployed fix with platform updates. So you can just remove node_modules directory and make npm i again then npm run start. You can watch it locally by address: 127.0.0.1:3000. And by wifi with your server ip:port . Game is multiplayer so you can test it on multiple machines.
