Islands support?

This is by far my favorite theme, but I like some of the UI changes in the new JB Islands theme.

Are there plans to incorporate them in dark plus at some point?

It's mostly in the tab appearance and window borders.

I can get a decent mix by setting "Using Theme: Islands Dark" with "Editor color scheme: Visual Studio Code Dark Plus" Which looks like this.

Those are all with the Atom Material Icons plugin as well.

Islands could not be turned off for a single theme so, I guess, that would mean either adjusting defaults in this theme or doing another theme.

Yes, with their eventual goal to make Islands the default theme it could make sense to adopt those changes into the VSCDP theme. But I think there's an equal argument to not forcing that change on VCSDP theme users, and splitting off a new Islands (or V2 or 2026) version of VSCDP. A new theme is probably the safe option. With Islands newly in Beta it's a future decision.
