There is a new update for pixels that allows the m to use quickshare with airdrop. Maybe you can find a workaround to make this work on every device.

Unfortunately from what I know, this needs firmware or at least driver level support which just got pushed to the Pixel 9 series.

As an alternative, I'd recommend QuickDrop which is my go-to and seem to work decently. Still not possible to do outside the local network tho.

I have kind of a file sharing implementation on the AirSync app but that's only with mac and it's half broken... Still holding on to see if Google gonna publish the changes to every Android soon or not which I hope. 🙏
