Description
I’d like to suggest adding optional root-based features to Canta Debloater for advanced users.
While the current Shizuku-based approach is useful, it can be unreliable due to permission resets, background service limitations, and OEM-specific restrictions. Adding a root access mode would greatly improve reliability and consistency.
In addition, it would be extremely helpful to include a feature that allows converting a USER APP into a SYSTEM APP using ROOT ACCESS. This would be useful for:
- Preventing critical apps from being uninstalled
- Improving app stability after reboot
- Supporting power users who manage system-level configurations
This feature could be implemented with proper safeguards and warnings, and kept disabled by default, similar to other advanced root tools.
Shizuku support can remain for non-root users, while root access can be offered as an optional advanced mode.
This dual-mode approach would make Canta Debloater more powerful while still remaining safe and user-friendly.
