v3.1.8 - Config getting wrongfully converted and/or are not equal to 3.1.7 portable mode

Using portable mode 3.1.7 I have copied over the \config folder expecting the settings to stick.
But there are several settings "changed" by first boot of 3.1.8, on top of what seems QT6->5 side effects.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Setup 3.1.7 in portable/USB mode, switch skin to Spotlight_Wide, configure some custom directories.
Now close 3.1.7 and use 3.1.8 with the same launchy.ini and notice that the Skin is back to default, theme changed from black to white (Detected display on 3.1.7 is specific DISPLAY1 -> Lenovo*, on 3.18 it only shows DISPLAY1 as name).

Expected behavior
Upgrading having the same settings applied.

Theme thing is probably QT related.

The config issue might be caused by the Version parameter now appearing under GenOps (and duplicating under General.

All of my custom settings seem to have been lost with the update. If there is a workaround to preserve those settings rather than have to reconfigure, I would appreciate it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
I move all [General] option values to [GenOps], as [General] is the default section of QSetting option values.
I use Qt5 in v3.1.8, and Qt5 does not seem to support dark theme.

Personally I don't mind the dark/light theme issue that's just cosmetic.

But the merge from first start of 3.1.7 -> 3.1.8 on the portable config file has a few issues.

1. it doesn't remove the Version option from [General]

2. It changes [Directories] Depth option from 10 to 5 in my case.

Have you checked that on the System Tab "Portable mode" is enabled? if not it will not read/convert your existing configuration from the local launchy.ini file.

Yes, "Portable mode" is enabled. Would it help for me to send you my original launchy.ini file that does not seem to be migrating properly?

I use portable mode, and can't reproduce this problem, maybe it is a QSetting version conversion failure (from Qt6 to Qt5).

You could try config with a blank setting file.

Can you close Launchy and then manually edit launchy.ini ?
Under [directories] there is an entry called size which is the number of rules count for the directories you configured for indexing.
If you manually set it to the correct value, save the ini (also create a copy)

Then start Launchy again does it show all configured directories?
If you close Launchy (really exit)
And check the launchy.ini did the setting for "size" stick?

I can reproduce this, this is a qt5 and qt6 difference.
