This library works with nrf52 dk board pca10040 ver. 3.0.0

I have an nRF52 DK PCA10040 Rev. 3.0 board. Does this library work with this DK board? It uses an nRF5340 as the interface MCU and does not have a bootloader mode. As far as I understand, for this library to work, the J-Link Debugger must upload a bootloader.
