UI: Select git revision and show differences

The git diff panel could show difference between any two git versions. Offer a drop-down list which switch between uncommitted, HEAD, and a prior commit. Only show difference to adjacent previous commit. The author and commit message fields could be set to read-only when showing anything but uncommitted work.
