Do not directly call done on select all

Sometimes users want to select all but then deselect some items or go in other folders and select more.
Unfortunately this seems not to be supported yet. Either I have the all done button or not, there is no select all, then continue.

I understood that a function that does not immediately change the screen when using the select all function is needed. Is this correct?
