Description
Hello! I have been testing WebLaTeX for a while and comparing it directly with Overleaf, which is currently my main platform for LaTeX editing. I use Overleaf to write papers collaboratively, and there are a few features that feel almost essential for an efficient workflow:
-
Commenting: While testing WebLaTeX, I could not find any way to leave comments. Is this feature available?
-
Reviewer / track changes mode: In Overleaf, it is possible to see what was changed by collaborators (highlighted in green) and then accept or reject those changes. I could not find a similar way in WebLaTeX to review and approve modifications made by others.
-
PDF–source synchronization: In Overleaf, clicking on a specific part of the PDF redirects you to the corresponding location in the .tex document. I did not find this functionality in WebLaTeX either.
These features are very important for collaborative writing, so I wanted to ask whether they already exist in WebLaTeX or are planned for future updates.
