Library/Dataset Browsing for SAS 9.4 Remote-SSH Connections (macOS) #1817

I use the VS Code SAS extension on macOS to connect to SAS 9.4 on Linux via remote-SSH. Code execution works well, but the extension currently does not allow browsing libraries or opening datasets in this connection mode.
In contrast, Viya connections support clicking libraries and viewing datasets, which I find extremely helpful during development. My and other organizations still run large workloads on SAS 9.4 Linux servers, and Mac/Linux users like myself often access them through SSH rather than IOM.
It would be super helpful if the extension could support basic library and dataset exploration for SAS 9.4 remote-SSH sessions, such as:
- Listing libraries
- Viewing datasets within a library
- Opening a dataset in a table viewer
