SatisfactoryModManager v2.3.0

22 Nov 13:06

Choose a tag to compare

Installation

Download and run Satisfactory-Mod-Manager-Setup.exe (Windows) or Satisfactory-Mod-Manager.AppImage (Linux)
If you already have Satisfactory Mod Manager installed, you don't need to download it again, it will auto-update.

SML pak not being downloaded

Before this version, one of the SML files (SML.pak) wasn't downloaded. The SML pak doesn't affect the core functionality of SML, but it enables the mod list menu ingame. Even though this version fixes that, because SMM caches everything it downloads, it won't try to download the pak, unless you force it by clearing the cache, then switching to the vanilla profile and back to your previous profile.

Changelog

  • Fixed SML pak not being downloaded
  • Fixed N/A mod SML version requirement causing SMM to get stuck loading
  • Fixed game being detected as running when it isn't
  • Fixed links in changelog being opened inside the app
  • Fixed deubg info not generating sometimes
  • Fixed selecting latest SML uninstalling SML
  • Fixed deleted mod not being removed (again)

  • Fixed Lutris wrong drive path
  • Fixed title bar being under popups
  • Fixed mod version list overflowing
  • Fixed updateCheckMode not being saved
  • Fixed typo in updates
  • Added error message if dlloverrides need to be set but Steam is running
  • Improved getting the mod list, and check if new mods are uploaded
  • Improved mods list performance
  • Enabled devtool in releases
  • Remove support for .zip mod extension (SMM downloads as .smod anyway)

If you installed mods manually you should write down the mods you have installed before launching SMM the first time (it will validate the mod install to the manifest, which contains nothing at the beginning), of if you already did, check the SatisfactoryModLoader.log in your game install dir for the list of mods of the last game launch #66

Changelog

It's finally here. A native Linux build of SMM. Most of SMM is platform independent and the parts that did depend on Windows have been rewritten, but if you encounter issues, create an issue on this repo, or (for quicker responses) send a message on the modding discord with your issue.

If you installed mods manually you should write down the mods you have installed before launching SMM (it will validate the mod install to the manifest, which contains nothing at the beginning), of if you already did, check the SatisfactoryModLoader.log in your game install dir for the list of mods of the last game launch #66

Satisfactory Mod Manager v2.0.0

20 Jun 14:20

Choose a tag to compare

Satisfactory Mod Manager is here, with a complete redesign, the ability to find Steam installs of the game, and more. Full changelog below.

Known Issues

  • Currently it doesn't find Steam installs from the default install location

Notes

  • SMLauncher will auto-update to SMM, but note that because of the name change, it will install as a new app. You can either uninstall SMLauncher yourself, or you will be prompted to when you open SMM.
  • Starting this version you can also choose the path to which SMM is installed, but if you already have SMLauncher installed, auto-update will install it to the current location (%localappdata%\Programs). IF you want to change it, first uninstall SMLauncher, then install SMM
  • If you manually installed mods on Steam, SMM won't automatically detect them, so you have to add them from SMM to receive mod auto-updates and mod profiles

Installation

Download and run Satisfactory-Mod-Manager-Setup.exe
If you already have Satisfactory Mod Launcher installed, you don't need to download it again, it will auto-update (can take up to 3 minutes, so if you close the app and see it running in the background, let it do its thing).

  • Complete redesign
  • Dark mode
  • Find Steam copies of the game
  • Show error message when game isn't found
  • Configurable auto-update
  • Show mod changelogs
  • Import and export mod profiles
  • Favorite mods
