Introducing Parakeet-Writer: WhisperWriter with NVIDIA NeMo Parakeet TDT 0.6B V2 Integration

I wanted to reach out and introduce a project I've produced that builds upon the excellent foundation you've created with WhisperWriter.

Description:
Parakeet-Writer is a modification of WhisperWriter that replaces OpenAI's Whisper model with NVIDIA's NeMo Parakeet V2 ASR model (nvidia/parakeet-tdt-0.6b-v2).

Key Differences:

• Uses NVIDIA NeMo's Parakeet-TDT-0.6B model (run locally)
• Includes both desktop (PyQt5) and web (Gradio) interfaces

Present Limitations:
Many settings from the original WhisperWriter will cause crashes if used with Parakeet-Writer.
UNSAFE SETTINGS (will cause crashes):

• Model selection/paths (use only Parakeet models)
• Compute type settings (int8/float16/float32)
• Device selection (handled automatically by NeMo)
• VAD filter settings
• Condition on previous text
• API-related settings (base_url, api_key)

The project maintains full attribution to WhisperWriter and all contributors, and I've been careful to respect the GPL-3.0 license terms.
