How to reuse settings specified on LspAttach

I basically want to be able to set my key mappings an general LSP settings in the LspAttach auto command.

A similar plugin, nvim-jdtls does that. Like nvim-metals, that plugin uses Neovim's LSP without going through nvim-lspconfig.

So, how nvim-jdtls manages to do that? How that can be implemented in nvim-metals?

You can put your keybindings in the on_attach function. Other way is to create a autocmd on LspAttach, check for metals client name and if it matches set keybinds to current buffer.
