To fix the problem, add a
permissionsblock to the workflow to explicitly specify the minimal required permissions for theGITHUB_TOKEN. Since the workflow publishes releases (which requires writing to repository contents), setcontents: writeat the workflow level. This ensures the workflow has only the permissions it needs and adheres to the principle of least privilege.
