'Keep representations' not saved in workspace

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to save and load the option 'keep representations' in the workspace. Currently, whenever I open up my workspace, I have to think of the fact that I have to turn it on again before I drag in a different PDB that I want to inspect with my own pre-written representations.

There are essentially two-levels of state that can be saved. One level represents the things which are directly tied to a workspace, i.e. the topology, trajectory, script and so forth. Then the other level represents the state of settings in the VIAMD application itself which is not directly tied to a workspace.
I would argue that the Keep representations option is something which belongs to the second category, since it has to do with VIAMDs behavior when switching between datasets.

There are other VIAMD level settings which should also be saved, but currently are not, such as font size etc.

Nevertheless, this is indeed an issue which should be resolved.
I just need to investigate a little bit in how to store these in the Imgui ini file which represents the state of all gui windows. As I do not want to introduce another state file.

Something related to this would be being able to save a default workspace of some sorts. I find myself adding the same kind of representation over and over again as I work through different papers with different PDBs of different enzymes that I quickly want to glance at. Similarly, I basically always turn on PBC and unwrap, and it's mildly frustrating that they are turned off every time I open ViaMD.
