Ubuntu 404 not found ip

I'm new in Ubuntu. When I follow installation instruction, I face with 404 not found IP.

After hours do research, I found source list must be changed.

sudo sed -i -e 's/archive.ubuntu.com\|security.ubuntu.com/old-releases.ubuntu.com/g' /etc/apt/sources.list

I think this book use quite old version Ubuntu.
