Do you have persistent-tun enabled? If yes that behaviour is expected. |

Hello,
i hope anyone can help me.
I use this app under android 14
Here a short overview.
At the original openVPN app. When the public ip was changed the app re resolved my DDNss and got/start with the new IP adress.
But i need split VPN for many Apps.
So i found this app. Everything works well until my provider change the public IP.
The OpenVPN App lost the connection an won't resolve the hostname agian.
It seems thath it is only a configuration issue. but iam not sure.
In the logfile i can see that the client tries to connect to the old IP but he don't trie to resolve the DDNS to get the new IP
the custom opitons are activates an i can see the following
When the VPN is in this status i can reattached the connetion when i restart it over the APP button.
Below you see the log after the restart is done:
For mi it looks like the APP don't try to resolve the DDNS Adress.
I hope you can help me i realy have no idea, how can i fix this issue.
Thank you.
