Here the two example commands for the generation of UniRef50 from UniRef90 gene families and the KOs from the UniRef50:

humann_regroup_table --input humann__genefamilies.tsv -c map_uniref50_uniref90.tsv.gz --output humann__genefamilies_UR50.tsv
humann_regroup_table --input humann__genefamilies_UR50.tsv -c map_ko_uniref50.tsv.gz --output humann__genefamilies_KOs.tsv

where:

• map_uniref50_uniref90.tsv.gz
• map_ko_uniref50.tsv.gz
  are mapping files available within the HUMAnN installation.
