Seen the city but not the country

Hi all,
I'm brand new user so forgive me if I do some mistake.
I was marking the cities I've visited in the country list but I've noticed a strange behaviour.
If I mark a city as visited, it does not marks that I've visited also the country

as you can see in this image China is not marked as visited, and in the list on the left I don't have any visited countries

But if I open in the country page, I find Shanghai as a visited town

Is it a bug or is a correct way (I don't think so)

Can confirm there is some weird behavior, likely the same as #942. Going to investigate now!
