Connect with the document management solution Papra to save documents directly from within AdventureLog into Papra and search Papra for existing documents and link them in AdventureLog.
Papra has an API that is capable of this and then redundancy could be avoided easily.

Usually I try to avoid redundancy and don't want my travel related documents to be available only in AdventureLog.

Alternatives Considered
Create a link in Papra and attach it in AdventureLog. But this wouldn't be seamless and an extra login would be required when opening the link.
