I can also confirm this on GNU Emacs 30.0.50 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.35, cairo version 1.16.0)

I also encountered this on emacs 30.0.90 with company mode version 0.9.9.
By upgrading company to latest version (20240107 on melpa at this time), the error was fixed.
