downloaded update notification "locks" UI

when the viewer is set to download updates and a new update is released and auto downloaded, clicking the link to open the release notes, it openes the built-in browser (assuming the viewer is set to open SL links with the built-in browser), then i can't click anything in the browser. it's "locked" by the update notification dialog.
