Description

If a user connected to webRTC voice opens the voice audio settings to do something like adjust their microphone volume, they can't hear other users after applying the settings, until they move into a different voice space, enter a p2p voice call, etc.

Reproduction steps

  1. UserA and UserB: go to the same voice-enabled location, and confirm you can hear each other in nearby voice chat
  2. UserA: Open Preferences -> Sound & Media, and click "Voice Input/Output Devices"
  3. Observe that UserA and UserB cannot hear each other nearby voice chat (as expected - there's temporary muting)
  4. UserA: Adjust your 'Mic Volume' slider slightly and click 'OK' to apply the changes
  5. UserA and UserB: Note if you can hear each other in voice chat

Expected results:
In (5), UserA and UserB should be able to hear each other.

Actual results:

  • In (5), UserB can hear UserA (as expected), but UserA cannot hear UserB (unexpected). Both users see voice indicators correctly in this case.
  • If UserA enters a p2p call or moves into a different voice space (e.g. a parcel on its own voice channel), then UserA's voice audio is restored.
