In order to control meeting participation allowance the application must have awareness of identities. This is currently done via google oauth. Should support other identity providers via configuration options.

Meeting Creation Requirements #461

• Creating meeting action displays Create Meeting Form
• Create Meeting Form:
  • Meeting Id (prefilled?)
    • used in the URL to join meeting
  • Meeting Title (optional), to be displayed at top of the meeting
  • Meeting Password (optional)
    • if filled, then password is needed to enter meeting
    • if empty, meeting is open to anyone
  • Waiting Room option (checkbox)
    • if checked, then meeting owner must acknowledge attendant before attendant can enter the meeting (eg. attendant stays in waiting room until allowed in)

Joining Meeting Requirements (meeting Starts concept)

• If meeting is password protected or wait room enabled the owner must START the meeting before others can join into the meeting
  • Until meeting is started, attendants that join will be placed in wait room
    • If no wait room option is checked (meeting is password protected) all attendants in wait room are automatically joined into the meeting hall as soon as owner starts the meeting
• If meeting is not password protected but it is wait room enabled, attendants will be in wait room until the meeting is started by the owner and each one is acknowledge into the meeting
  • Possible option to allow everyone in waiting room in with one click (think of a meeting with 1000 attendants waiting)
• If meeting is not password protected, and not wait room enabled, attendants join in freely (current way it works today)

In Meeting Requirements for Owner

• Mute
  • Meeting owner can mute individual participants
  • Meeting owner can mute all participants
• Video
  • Meeting owner can disable individual participant video
  • Meeting owner can disable all participant videos
• Booting
  • Meeting owner can eject individual participants
• Chairing
  • Meeting owner can delegate ownership
  • Meeting can have any number of owners
• Leaving
  • An Owner leaving has the option to the end meeting
  • The last owner leaving
    • Is given the option to delegate ownership
    • Automatically ends the meeting otherwise
