No there isn't and security auditors would probably flag this as an issue, if any app could all the time tell us to do a backup. |

indeed, I imagine the design consideration for making the USB drive working as is was to minimize the input needed from user... similarly, a trigger for an automatic backup would only start a backup if it was at least 12 hours from the last backup (the minimum time for backups on non-debug builds) and would also honor the settings for data connection and charging. Such an option at the same time would allow for flexible trigger conditions to which seedvault currently is agnostic, such as certain time of the day, certain day of the week, specific SSID connected, etc. Building these into the app would likely be seen as bloat by many, but an intent that checks already existing conditions seems simple. |

I have an android 15 device with a fully configured and functioning seedvault app.
Within seedvault, the backup schedule is configured as weekly and only if charging.
But I have a need to start a full backup under certain conditions which are external to the seedvault app.
Is there an intent to which seedvault is listening and which could trigger an automatic backup?
