Apple "Find My" network security issue disscuss

As Apple's "Find My" network is public. If the malicious tracking tag only sends a different BLE broadcast every 15 minutes, nearby iOS devices will have no way to detect the malicious tracking. And a malicious user can obtain the gps location once every 15 minutes by using the ECC public key information from apple server?

My question is: How to avoid these malicious tracking?

As of 2022 this was a vulnerability. You could just send a different broadcast. Not sure if this is still an issue.
